Objectives of Learning Mathematics - The ability to choose right mathematical methods and formulae to solve problems in Mathematics. Number Facility - Builds an ability to learn Addition, Substraction, Multiplication and Division quickly and accurately. Deductive Reasoning of Mathematics is helpful to apply general rules to specified problems to draw right answers that can make a sense of application of Maths. Goals of Department of Mathematics are universal where as Mathematics always stands a unique subject of learning. The main aim of the content of Mathematics is intended to support the following five goals set for the students of Mathematics: becoming problem solving individuals in Mathematical problem, build themselves strong in mathematical communication which is suitable for the present and the generations ahead, take part in the aspect of mathematical reasoning, establishing mathematical relations with with a good connectivity and using mathematical representations to make well knitted interpretation in practical life. The department of Mathematics has been playing a vital role in shaping young mathematic ones into successful troubleshooters in practical life. Besides that the department has also been adding a number of achievers every year in cracking various CETs and State and Central Government employment.
