DEPARTMENT OF TELUGU
This college was established in the year 1971, the only and first Degree College in the Tekkali Revenue Division. The college initially started with B.,A and B.Com Courses. The College started B.Sc Course in 1975 with M.P.C and C.B.Z groups.
Department of Telugu was started with the inception of the college in 1971 and has completed 50 fruitful years of its existence and proved to be a premier branch of the college offering conventional as well as diversified courses such as restructured courses catering to the educational needs of new millennium.
The department introduced restructured course like Special Telugu in 2008 with H.P.T group with Combination of (History, Politics, Special Telugu) the approval of Andhra University for the focus of such great personalities like GIDUGU RAMAMURTHY PANTHULU and RONANKI APPALA SWAMY who were born and brought fame to this land. The College is now affiliated to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar University, Srikakulam from the academic year 2011-2012 as per the orders of Government of Andhra Pradesh.
