Ratna Kala, Lecturer in Zoology, GDC  Tekkali has successfully guided a Ph.D thesis titled “  ICHTHyOFAUNAL DIVERSITY OF SOMPETA WETLAND OF SRIKAKULAM DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH, INDIA” The research work was carried out By Ms. MAADINA PRAVEENA, Research Scholar, at Dept. of Zoology, Andhra University and was awarded on 31-12-2025. 

Dr. M. Ratna Kala, a distinguished faculty member of the Department of Zoology, Government Degree College, Tekkali has guided the research with great academic expertise and dedication. The thesis was evaluated by external examiners and was highly appreciated for its scientific merit and originality.
